About SpeedComfort

This is what SpeedComfort stands for

We are happy to help you save on your energy consumption, and get more comfort in your home or business. As a result, we are working together to reduce our CO2 emissions.

SpeedComfort customers know that sustainability can be fun and doesn’t have to be complicated. Anyone can easily take a sustainable step without major investments or renovation. Our smart radiator fans help with that. They can be installed in an instant, earn their cost back in one heating season, and offer an noticeable improvement in comfort every day.

Sustainability

We want to minimise the footprint of our company. And we want to contribute the formation of a just society to the best of our ability. This is why our radiator fans are assembled in the Netherlands by SDO Werkt using people with a disadvantage in the labour market.
We travel as much as possible by train, bicycle or electric car. We compensate for the company’s own CO2 emissions in collaboration with Trees For All Projects. All parts of the SpeedComforts can be reused. The expected life of our radiator fan is at least 40 years. The manual is on the packaging and available online.
And a tree is planted for every SpeedComfort sold. For this purpose, we work with Eden Reforestation Projects.

Founding

SpeedComfort was founded in 2015 with a mission to contribute to reducing CO2 emissions and contribute to mitigating the impact of climate change. A long-standing idea to make central heating systems more efficient has been revived. The prototype was ready in August 2015. Since then, things have moved fast: We were awarded The Greenest Idea of the Netherlands in November 2015. Market launch was February 2016.

A year later we were in hardware stores throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, and the number of partners with whom we (still) work grew. At the beginning of 2022, almost 400,000 Dutch households had already installed our radiator fans in their homes, and we have a rating of 8.7. At the same time, the number of buyers also grew in a number of other European countries such as England, Germany and France.
