Can I also use a regular fan?

Isn't a SpeedComfort just an ordinary fan? Can't I just put it on the windowsill? Interesting thought, Daan de Jong from Delft. But we obviously think differently about that. 

Look, the principle of the regular fan naturally inspired us when designing the SpeedComfort. It also accelerates airflow. But a standard fan simply blows air around the room and is not connected to a heat source. This means it has no effect on reaching a pleasant temperature in the home more quickly.

How the SpeedComfort works

With the SpeedComfort, we do things differently. Better. Because these fans are placed at the bottom of the radiator, they draw in cold air and then direct it along the warm radiator surface into the room. This improves the heat output of the radiator and creates accelerated air circulation. The warmed air is actively blown into the room.

Specially designed

The SpeedComfort does deliver that desired effect: a pleasant room temperature more quickly and energy savings. We specially designed this product for this purpose, with the right number of blades and a specific shape and position, suitable for moving heat. Feel free to use a regular fan, there's nothing wrong with it, but just for when you want a nice breeze.
